A Portrait of Depression

This is not a great piece, it was rather rushed in the end. I had attempted painting it in a different style, but ended up in a terrible mood.

A couple friends had been doing their own self portraits. I had wanted to try my own, but ended up digging myself into a dark mental state. Which lead to this. Is this me? No, not really, as I don't like drawing myself.  Even thinking about how I would portray myself brought me into a negative mindset.

So I figured I'd do something that kind of.... got things off my mind a bit.
